Sustainable Logging plays an important role in land stewardship at Waverley Brook Farm. Sustainable Logging provides valuable fuel wood and construction material, while maintaining a healthy, productive forest, diverse in wildlife. Waverley Brook Farm has been sustainably logging the property since 1912, and the knowledge has been passed down from generation to generation. This January 2011 we will be back in the bush harvesting firewood and picking out good sawlogs as we low grade our bush.
