A. Farm Tours

$12 per person. Open 6 days a week, closed Sunday.

Visit our 4 season farm with animals, maple syrup, forests, & gardens.

Group prices for celebrations like birthday parties or family reunions may be available.  Enjoy visits with animals, art activities, hikes and more surrounded in the beauty of creation on the land.

We create a great opportunity to experience different topics with the time you have available to enjoy a visit on the farm.

B. Art of Farming in a Day

Cost of $100 for a family (book in advance)

A Four Season Waverley Brook Farm tour is filled with activities on the farm. Depending on the time of year there would be different events that would give an experience of each season with what is available in nature on the land.

Your questions will lead the emphasis and direct the topics for the day.

Global perspective down to a foot print on the trail. We will create the day with topic choices of: Life cycles, Elements, Kingdoms, Senses. History and Culture of the community as pioneers and alternative experiments for future generations.

Spring & mineral

  • maple syrup production and the life of a tree.
  • count the rings

Summer & humans

  • work with the land and water
  • plant seeds

Autumn & plant

  • harvest time
  • dig for a crop or pick a leaf to taste & identify

Winter & animals

  • walk to ponder the forest
  • discover wild life scat and foot prints

C. Art of Farming in a Week

Cost $300 for children (parents and grand parents are free)

Join us at Waverley Brook Farm for a week long program on the art of farming in local community. We share joys of work on the land with each day having one of the elements, kingdoms and senses as a focus. We will discover together the beauty of creation with song & art experiences to take home each day.

Monday - Earth, Mineral & Touch:

  • Biodynamic prep compost
  • stone gathering
  • rock creatures and inukchuks

Tuesday - Water, Humans & Smell:

  • Irrigation, Harvest
  • flower/fruit/leaf/root with moon
  • fountains of peace

Wednesday - Fire, Plants & Taste:

  • Photosynthesis
  • art of sun with flowers
  • Picnic potluck for families
  • Bonfire and star gazing for the evening. This starts at 6 pm and is optional

Thursday - Air, Animal & Hearing:

  • life cycles
  • domestic & wild animals, footprints
  • kites & chimes

Friday - Ethereal, Spirit & Sight:

  • Abundance of Spirit
  • cooperative games in community 
  • Painting


Waverley Brook Farm will provide

  • A fun filled educational experience
  • picnic area available
  • drumming circle
  • Potluck basics for the Wed night dinner
  • Your art from the farm to take home

Please bring

  • Bag lunch each day
  • Potluck dish for Wed dinner (optional event)
  • Insect protection (clothing or repellant) and sun protection ie hat, lotion
  • Appropriate clothes for farm (ie boots, rain gear, play or work clothes)
  • Leave all valuables at home, we are not responsible for lost or damaged goods
Group and individual rates are available with a minimum for the day. Sponsorship is negotiable .
